Results

The 8th Eco Poster Exhibition has announced its winners.

The main exhibition opened on Feb. 22 and runs through Mar. 19, 2016 in the Cultural Centre of Radzionków “Karolinka”. The members the International Jury awarding the prizes are prof. Eugeniusz Skorwider (Poland), prof. Chang Sik Kim (South Korea / USA), Pavel Noga (Czech Republic), Mariusz & Joanna Bednarscy (Poland / Germany) and prof. Tadeusz Grabowski (Poland). They awarded the following prizes:

  • 1st Prize | Prof. Artur Starczewski’s Award
    PIOTR DEPTA (Poland);
  • 2nd Prize
    JOURI TOREEV (Belarus);
  • 3rd Prize
    MAX ROMPO (Argentina);
  • The „Green Earth” Award
    ŁUKASZ ŻUR (Poland);
  • The Audience Award
    ZHENYU LI (South Korea);
  • Certificate of Honour:

The cycle of Eco Poster is a project which has been carried out by the Instutute of Art at the University of Silesia in Katowice and it is celebrating its 10th anniversary. This year we celebrate also 50th anniversary of the Cultural Centre “Karolinka”. For the first time Eco Poster was an international exhibition, the lead theme of this year’s works included the issues relating to stress and depression, environmental impacts on our quality of life.
